Gabby Cazeau, a Principal at Harlem Capital, is determined to change the face of entrepreneurship. Her role involves deal sourcing, due diligence, internal operations, and building partnerships across the tech and entrepreneurship ecosystem. With a focus on ecommerce, fintech, and software, Gabby has made a name for herself in the venture capital world. In fact, she was featured in the HBCUvc’s 31 under 31 list, which recognizes young investors and founders who are changing the game.
Gabby received her MBA in 2020 from the Yale School of Management. During her time at Yale, Gabby was a fellow in the Forte and Management Leadership for Tomorrow MBA Programs. She also served as an advisor in Yale’s startup incubator and accelerator. Before Yale, Gabby worked in R&D and Innovation at General Mills where she built and launched several products for iconic brands like Cheerios, Nature Valley, Epic, and FiberOne.
Gabby’s Haitian heritage and Maryland roots have instilled in her a strong sense of determination and drive. She holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis where she was a John B. Ervin Scholar. Gabby’s passion for entrepreneurship has led her to serve as a board observer for WorkChew and Singuli. She is also a Venture Fellow at Harlem Capital and previously worked as a Program Manager Intern in Mixed Reality Strategy at Microsoft.
In her free time, Gabby enjoys reading, playing Connect-4, and salsa dancing, especially finding a good dance spot while traveling to a new city. She is committed to making the world a better place by investing in diverse founders who will shape the future of entrepreneurship.
